Plain English: Use QRSnap lawfully. Don't abuse the service. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.
Using QRSnap
QRSnap is a QR code generation tool. You may use it to generate QR codes for lawful purposes. You may not use QRSnap to:
- Generate QR codes that link to malware, phishing pages, or illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent payment gating through automated or manual means
- Scrape, automate, or otherwise overload the service
Accounts
Accounts are required only for the paid tier. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email inbox, as magic-link sign-in uses your email as the authentication factor. If you lose access to your email, contact us at qrsnap-support@botitout.com.
Subscriptions and payments
- Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period.
- You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
- The free tier (PNG download) is and will remain free. We will not retroactively paywall features currently in the free tier.
Your content
You retain ownership of any URLs you encode into QR codes. QRSnap does not store, log, or transmit the URLs you enter. Free-tier generation is entirely client-side.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantee. The free tier generates QR codes entirely in your browser — if our servers are down, you can still generate codes as long as the page has loaded.
Static QR codes you download are yours to keep. They do not depend on QRSnap remaining operational.
Limitation of liability
QRSnap is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to business losses from QR codes that fail to scan, link to incorrect destinations, or are printed at incorrect sizes.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to signed-in users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
